Detectors in general
According to our long-time experiences in counterfeit recognition and detection is our offer
oriented on detectors, which are the most useful for you and efficient in recognition
of the most dangerous counterfeits.
Of course, for efficient inspection is also necessary to have valuable information
how to recognize the counterfeit
and what to be aimed for during the banknote inspection.
Which detector is the most suitable for you?:
Magnifier with expert properties:
- Magnification minimally 10x with possibility to
light up the inspected area.
- Side incident light - for intaglio
presence inspection - we highly recommend to perform this inspection.
- UV A or UV C light .
UV lamps:
- Pocket UV lamps are totally unsuitable!
- Do not rely on table UV lamps as on the only inspection technique for checking
banknote genuineness, because majority of counterfeits have well imitated
protection in UV (ultra-violet) spectrum, even some euro counterfeits response to UV-rays
identically as genuine banknotes.
- If you decide to buy UV lamp, it has to be equipped with one or two 8W lamps.
4W lamp is insufficient!
Inspection of IR and magnetic protection:
- Beware of cheap detectors which are able to check banknote protection
in IR (infrared) spectrum or magnetic pigment presence by IR or magnetic probe with
sound or indicator light signalization.
- For efficient inspection in this cases we recommend detectors which are able
to display images of IR and magnetic protection !
