There were some excellent lectures, like that of Mr. Peter Fajmann (Laboratory Supervisor, Oesterreichische Banknoten- und Sicherheitsdruck GmbH), who spoke with a great practical experience about alternative approaches to technological problems resulting from the serious dilemma between the paper and polymer as substrates for money printing. Many lectures gave, doubtless, a very good survey of technical level reached in some printing offices and of problems they had to solve.
