Bank of Canada - latest bills. Bank of Canada has unveiled the latest bills in its new polymer note series, the $5 and $10 denominations to join the already released polymer $20, $50 and $100 banknotes and will mark the final phase of Canada's transition away from cotton-based paper bills. The new bills will not go into circulation until November 2013. Israel - new banknotes scheduled The Bank of Israel presented the designs of the four banknotes which are scheduled to enter circlation within the framework of the new banknote series. The first two denominations - NIS 50 and NIS 200 are expected to be issued toward the end of 2013. New Barbados Banknotes 2013 On the 2 May 2013 the Central Bank of Barbados launched redesigned banknotes with its bold, modern design and vibrant hues. The basic colours of new banknotes in six denominations $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 remain the same. New security features makes the notes more difficult for counterfeiters to copy and easier for the public to authenticate.
